    NB Golf Cars is looking for an experienced Parts Manager to help grow their already growing business. Qualified applicants should possess at least 1-2 years parts counter experience, a strong work ethic, be a team player, have good communication skills, be computer efficient in a Windows environment.

    Major Duties and Responsibilities

    1. Parts Department

    • Must be able to sell products and/or services to repair the problem and meet the customer's needs.
    • Maintain customer goodwill by greeting and acknowledge all customers he/she comes in contact with.
    • Maintain a parts department that is clean and orderly.
    • Record all sales and/or customer transactions that occur.
    • Provide service technicians with parts as required.
    • Assist the General Manager in merchandising displays.
    • Maintains the retail sale floor and displays to meet or exceed the dealerships standards.
    • Controls showroom inventory to ensure maximum sales and customer satisfaction.
    • Performs routine housekeeping tasks that maintain and enhances the cleanliness of products and the retail sales area.
    • When working the parts counter, follows prescribed cash, credit, and check processing procedures of the dealership. Processes cores, warranties, and new return merchandise as required at a point of sale.
    • Assist with end of day processing by reconciling customer payments with parts tickets and other end of day reports.
    • Attends training as prescribed by management to maintain proficiency in his/her job description.
    • Uses dealership equipment and resources safely and proficiently.
    • Performs other tasks as required by the General Manager.
    • Verify receiving documents, such as packing slips and invoices.
    • Follow up on shortages and expedite by reporting to the management team.
    • Provide feedback regarding the parts department performance to the General Manager.

    2. Customer Service
    • Assist in handling customer complaints and concerns and make sure the problem is corrected to the customer and dealership's satisfaction.
    • Greet customers immediately in a courteous manner.
    • Treat customers fairly and with honesty, and demonstrate our commitment to superior customer service and ethical business practices.

    3. Qualifications and Job Requirements
    • Graduation from manufacturer parts program preferred but not required.
    • Knowledge of ADP light speed parts operating system preferred but not required.
    • Ability to speak effectively one on one.
    • Ability to effectively listen.
    • Ability to interpret customer needs.
    • Basic computer skills.
    • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
    • Good organizational skills.

    4. Physical Demands
    • The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
    • Requires the use of both hands.
    • Frequently required to bend, stoop, crouch, reach, handle tools, and lift in excess of 80 lbs of material.

    5. Commitments
    • Treat all employees and customers fairly, courteously and with dignity.
    • Maintain positive relationships with customers, other employees and owners.
    • Be early, flexible and available for scheduling.
    • Maintain up to date technical training.
    • Focus on quality and service.
    • Demonstrate an interest in growing the parts business.
    • This is a Monday through Friday position with hours being 7:30 - 5:00 and some Saturdays as required.

    6. Working Conditions
    • Frequently works near moving mechanical parts.
    • Is potentially exposed to battery acid, gasoline, chemical cleaning material or other toxic materials commonly found in motor vehicle service departments, some of which may be considered health hazards.
    • Occasionally exposed to exhaust fumes or other airborne particles.
