Course Superintendent

The Club at Indian Creek is a 27-hole, daily fee facility, and one of Nebraska’s finest golf courses. We continually strive to provide excellent course conditions and a first-class customer experience. Indian Creek is home of The Korn Ferry Tours Pinnacle Bank Championship.

Our course superintendents, along with our team of assistants and AIT’s, will help create the foundation for our next chapter. Along the way, all, will find themselves more prepared to achieve what it is they want to achieve in the golf industry or beyond.

Our course superintendents will work directly with the entire team and help lead all aspects of daily and tournament course operations. The position provides an excellent opportunity to experience all facets of a high-end daily fee operation as well as PGA tournament preparation. The position provides an excellent opportunity to build a large professional network within the golf industry, the PGA Tour, Korn Ferry Tour, and the Golf Channel Network.

Functions

• Lead and direct all aspects of course and facility management
• Collaborate in project planning, management, and execution
• Direct and assist with personnel recruitment, hiring, training, scheduling, evaluation, and safety training
• Direct and coordinate irrigation system operation, repair, install, and troubleshooting
• Direct and assist in all spray program applications and programming
• Direct and assist in tournament planning, preparation, and execution for the Pinnacle Bank Championship

• Display a keen eye for detail at a championship level and approach each day with purpose and an expectation of excellence

Employment standards

• Successful experience as a superintendent or lead assistant
• Possess strong agronomic knowledge regarding the management of a tournament golf course
• Possess the knowledge, confidence, and ability to lead a team and maintain a positive uplifting and efficient culture
• Ability to obtain a NE applicators license within 60 days of hire

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in a turf-related field or extensive and functional experience in demanding golf course management position is preferred but this is assessed on an individual basis.
