Golf Course Superintendent

About the Club:

Ames Golf & Country Club (AG&CC) was formed in 1911. The original Club, a
nine-hole golf course with a clubhouse and swimming pool was located south of
Ames. In 1971, land was purchased and a new golf course was built at the present
location, north of Ames. The grand opening of the new facility was held on Labor
Day 1974.
The Par 71 18-hole course sits on 164 acres and plays between 6685 and 4800
yards, across five sets of Tees. The club has been host to many state
championships and PGA Section events, most recently the 2022 IGA State Senior
Amateur. Club members and guest play, on average, 15,000 rounds per season.
AG&CC members enjoy amenities that include a zero-depth entry Pool, a recently
