The Mauh-Nah-Tee-See Club is a historic private country club that has served as the premier destination for golf, dining, and entertainment in Rockford for more than 90 years. Nestled on 110 beautiful, tree-lined acres in northeast Rockford, the club features an 18-hole championship golf course (par 71), professional driving range and practice facilities, swimming pool, and elegant banquet and dining spaces. The club offers a variety of membership options and hosts weddings, special events, social gatherings, and year-round activities for members and their families. We are seeking a dynamic, experienced leader to serve as the next General Manager and continue delivering exceptional experiences in this family-oriented private club environment.

Position Summary

The General Manager is the chief operating executive of the club and reports directly to the Board of Directors. This role is responsible for the overall leadership, strategic direction, financial performance, and day-to-day operations of the club. The General Manager ensures the highest standards of member service, while providing supervision for the golf course and facilities. The General Manager oversees all departments (golf, food & beverage, outside events, maintenance, and administration), and fosters a positive, professional culture among staff while building strong relationships with members.
