Overview:

Rustic Ridge Golf Course is seeking a dedicated Golf Course Superintendent to manage and maintain our 9-hole course. The ideal candidate will have a passion for golf course management, strong agronomic expertise, and hands-on experience in turf maintenance, irrigation, and equipment care.

This role is perfect for someone eager to create an exceptional playing experience for all golfers while continuously learning and improving course conditions.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Education:

• Preferred: Associate's or Bachelor's degree/certificate in turf management, agronomy, or a related field.

Experience:

• Prior golf course maintenance experience preferred but not required.

Skills & Responsibilities:

• Maintain the golf course to high standards of playability.
• Oversee daily maintenance operations, including mowing, watering, and landscaping.
• Manage and maintain irrigation and drainage systems.
• Apply fertilizers, pesticides, and herbicides as needed.
• Maintain golf course equipment and coordinate repairs.
• Lead, train, and supervise grounds staff.
• Communicate effectively with members and staff.
• Highly motivated with a strong work ethic and attention to detail.

Compensation:

• Salary: $40,000 - $45,000 (commensurate with experience and qualifications).
