Beaver Hills Country Club
8230 Beaver Hills Dr
Cedar Falls, IA 50613
Beaver Hills Country Club is looking for an experienced, highly motivated Assistant Superintendent with a great work ethic.
Beaver Hills opened in 1965 and has gone through many changes over the past 15 years. New bunkers in 2008, clubhouse remodel in 2010, and re-grassing of all greens, tees, and fairways in 2012 to newer bent grass. Tree removal and tree management has been a big focus over the past 5 years due to the Emerald Ash Borer. We have a lot of capital improvement projects coming up over the next few years such as bridge replacements, cart path improvements, tee box improvements, and bunker improvements.
We have a Toro irrigation system that was installed in 1999. In 2019, we upgraded to Lynx Central Control, Network VP satellites, and have slowly been converting to Infinity heads. The irrigation pumps were also replaced in 2019. Our turf equipment is on an aggressive replacement program. Everything is in great condition with a solid mix of Toro and John Deere.
Beaver Hills has a young, growing, and active membership. We are proud of our golf course, great work environment and our employees are treated well!
We will be accepting applications through December 15.
2-4 years of experience working on golf course is required. Previous experience as an Assistant Superintendent (or Superintendent) is preferred.
Turf Certificate, Associate's, or Bachelor's Degree in a related field (if no education, we'll still take applications with at least 3 years experience as a Superintendent or Asst. Superintendent on a golf course)
