2008 Research Fund Request

The Iowa GCSA began its involvement with turf research in 1939 at what was then called Iowa State College. Each of us can continue to nurture that involvement by asking our club/course to participate in the Turfgrass Research Fund. Additionally, we can donate as individuals and ask for individual donations from others committed to our industry.  

Clubs/courses are asked to contribute $50 for each nine holes. Individual donations are welcome in any amount, $100, $50, $25, or whatever you prefer. Properly funded research leads to better methods, materials and cultivars. Ultimately, the benefit is job security and satisfaction!
